Artist Heritage kits are ideal for when space is a premium. Comprised of an all-birch shell construction, it provides a powerful but controlled sound that’s suitable for any genre.

All Artist shells are based on a 7.5mm, 6-ply construction. The choice of a thicker shell grants greater projection that allows each drum kit to stand out in small to intimate sized venues without the aid of amplification from a PA system. The choice of birch produces a bright, articulate tone with great weight and attack, making it also suitable for home recording and streaming.

Each piece of mounting hardware has been designed to improve durability, enhance the sound quality and increase the tuning stability of each birch shell. A tribute to Premier’s rich heritage, the restyled low-mass lugs are heavily influenced by the Art Deco movement, increasing the aesthetic lure of Artist Heritage whilst allowing the shells to freely resonate, improving their overall tone, resonance, and performance.

What sets Artist Heritage apart from other kits is its compact nature and portability. Inspired by vintage style drum sets, not only is each kit smaller, making it easier to transport, setting up and packing down also feels effortless thanks to the integral memory locks featured on the rack and floor toms. For extra convenience when travelling, Artist Heritage also comes equipped with ‘70s-esque folding bass drum spurs.

Artist Heritage is available in three unique shell packs, each with their own personality and comes complete with a matching wooden snare drum:

• 16” shell pack – The smallest Artist Heritage kit is perfect for intimate unplugged shows for drummers who don’t have the convenience of a larger vehicle to transport their kit.

• 18” shell pack – Inspired by Premier’s iconic legacy, this Bebop-style kit provides a fantastic sound.

• 20” shell pack – Premier’s original and most popular compact kit. The Club kit reverts to its predecessor’s original shallow shell depth, packing a punch in the smallest of footprints.
